The Verdict
For any new build, Seedance 2.0 — not only is it cheaper and top of the with-audio leaderboard, but Sora 2's API stops accepting requests in under three months. Investing integration effort in a sunsetting endpoint is hard to justify unless you have an immediate, short-lived need.
